Paul Robeson, The Life in Retrospect

Paul Leroy Robeson was an American bass-baritone concert artist, stage and film actor, athlete, and activist who became famous both for his cultural accomplishments, and, for his political stances. As my friend Tony West said “A warrior who was not allowed to fight…”

The Paul Robeson, The Life in Retrospect show promotes interest in authentic Black History as it facilitates outreach to a diverse group of people not yet familiar with the Paul Robeson story – which includes his triumphs and struggles.
